This giant activity will give you an insight into what it's like to get on the buses! The short wheel base and long overhang takes a bit of getting used to, especially when manoeuvering into coned garages, pulling out of T-junctions, and circumnavigating roundabouts.

- And debrief after the driving session
- Followed by the presentation of a certificate.

Numbers.
This is an exclusive event with one-to-one tuition, but if you want your own spectators to be on the bus, or have a go that's fine.
Restrictions.
- You must be fit, able bodied and 17 year of age or over. You must be fit enough to enable you to climb into a high cab. We can give you some help if need be.
- Maximum weight is 114kg (18stone),
- Maximum height 1.93m (6ft 4”0, minimum height 1.57m (5ft2”). If you do not fit inside these measurements please contact our office as we may be able to accommodate you with prior notice.
- A full valid UK or European driving licence will need to be brought and shown on the day. If you are not 100% able bodied but feel you could drive this vehicle safely then please call us to check if this is possible.
Clothing Required.
Participants should wear suitable driving footwear and outdoor clothing for the weather conditions. The majority of the course is inside the bus but at times you may need to get out to see what cones you have knocked over.
Spectator Information.
Guests are welcome and we encourage spectators to get as close to the action as safely possible, however we do ask that all guests are prebooked. Spectators usually ride in the Double Decker for the whole course. Refreshments (tea/coffee/hot chocolate/orange/biscuits) will be available free of charge for yourself and 3 guests. We charge £5 for extra spectators.
Meal Arrangements.
Meals are not included in this activity although cheese rolls and bacon butties are usually available to buy on the day.
Weather Restrictions.
This activity will only be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions that limit participant’s ability to get to the venue, or to run the event safely, in which case you will be notified in advance. It is snow and ice that is likely to stop the event running so, if this is forecast, please contact the venue as late as possible before setting off to check that the event will be able to run. Please ensure you include all of your contact telephone numbers and an email address at the time of placing your booking.
