Hannah will guide you through shopping for Chinese ingredients, discuss the menu and buy the final items for the day’s cooking. Back in the kitchen you will be involved in a hands-on basis (Aprons will be provided!) in preparing and cooking a range of six dishes with Hannah demonstrating all aspects and explaining the principles and varieties of Chinese cuisine.
There will be no formal, sit down, 6-course lunch. We will eat each dish as and when it is prepared thus experiencing each dish at its freshest and not overloading the digestion! The day will conclude about 3.00-3.30 after a palate freshening fruit dessert. You will take away a pack containing lists of ingredients and full recipes.
