THE Rally cars:
Guests will practice in an open field in our Ford Escorts progressing onto the forest track in our Ford Cosworth. Guests will then be a passenger in the white knuckle ride of their life as the professional takes the wheel of our Subaru Impreza.
Feel the acceleration and severe braking force of a 310 bhp Subaru Impreza Rally Car on a real forest rally stage - featuring hairpin bends, water splashes and tight twisting curves. Your half day experience will teach you the same skills and techniques used by the top rally drivers.
Our top class instructors will teach you a driving style unlike anything you have ever experienced before. Your course will be spread out over three stages.
The first stage is designed to get you into the feel of a rally car then each subsequent stage increases in difficulty and variation.
- The course begins with basic techniques and skills such as steering control and racing lines,
- Progressing to advanced techniques such as the Scandinavian flick, power slides and braking control to name but a few.
- The course climaxes with the driver and instructor swapping seats for a jaw dropping high speed passenger ride that will never be forgotten!

How long does this activity last:
Duration: 4 hours
08:30am Guests arrive at the Site and meet for refreshments and a briefing for the days activities.
09.00am Our professional rally driver will spend time explaining about the vehicles you will be, and the safety aspects and the theory of rally car driving.
09:45am You will take the wheel of a Ford Escort around an open field as you learn the basic skills needed for rally driving.
11.00am Take our 310 bhp Subaru Impreza around our purpose built track through the forest. You will then be a passenger in the white knuckle ride of your life as the professional takes the wheel. Each guest will spend time learning power slides, Scandinavian flicks and braking control
1.00pm Guests will finish for a debrief and refreshments.
Restrictions:
- Minimum Age: 18
- Height: Minimum 5ft 2"
- Maximum: 6ft 4”
- Maximum Weight 17 ½ Stone
- You will need a full UK driving licence to take part
Clothing:
Loose, comfortable clothing that you don 't mind getting dirty is recommended. Footwear should be sturdy and flat and ladies should wear trousers.
Refreshments:
Refreshments will be provided for participants only during the event. .
Instruction:
There will be a maximum of six people per instructor. All car instruction will be on a one to one basis. There may be other rally activities taking place on the same day
On the day:
All clients must produce their driving license on the day.
Spectators:
Participants are welcome to bring guests along, the first guest free and £10 thereafter. Complimentary refreshments will be available on the day.
