Then back to the airfield for low level flying / hovering. A trial lesson will give you an insight into the thrill of helicopter flight and the flight time does count towards the hours required to gain a PPL(H).
Flights are preceeded by a 20-minute pre-flight briefing, the recipient will be given a briefing on the effects of controls and how the helicopter flies.
The student handles the controls and flies the aircraft throughout. Back on the ground, the student will be presented with a certificate of achievement, signed by his or her instructor.
How long does this activity last:
Your total experience will last approximately 1-2 hours hour and you'll be up in the air for 20, 30 or 60 minutes.
When can you go:
Selected dates, all year although April to September is best.

Restrictions:
- You must be at least 16 years old to participate in this activity.
- This activity may not be suitable for those who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart conditions.
- The maximum weight is 102kg to 108kg (16 to 17 stone).
There is no previous flying experience necessary.
