Your instructor will drive you around the circuit explaining the racing line, braking and gear changing points. After a couple of laps you'll change places and you will have the chance to put into practice the points you have just learned, with your instructor by your side. Next Goodwood's sweeping circuit is open to you as you take the wheel of a Formula Ford 2000 single seater racing car. This is a full 2 litre "winged" racer, with slick tyres and Hewland gear box.

After more than 10 miles impersonating Jenson Button you'll need a breather!  A change of style and pace follows as you choose 2 cars from the following impressive stable of classics. Again an instructor will accompany you to help you savour these wonderful old cars, which all have their own idiosyncrasies, not to mention lots of horse power! 

The svelte and refined Aston Martin DB4 and Jaguar E-Type, the brutal Cobra and Chevrolet Corvette, Clarkson's favourites the Dodge Viper or Vauxhall Monaro and a choice of old and new Porsche 911's!  All cars are subject to availability.
