How long does the activity last:
Tank driving sessions last approximately 3½ hours, and are available mornings (9.00am to 12.30pm) or afternoons (1.00pm to 4.30pm)
When can you go:
February - October on selected Fridays & Saturdays
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome at a fee of £10.00, this includes a Ride on a Tank & complimentary tea and coffee, Children under 10 years are free.
Other info:
As this is an outdoor activity, we would advise you to dress comfortably and warmly. Sturdy boots are advisable, as are waterproofs during wet weather.
This course is suitable for ages 16 and upwards. No previous driving experience is required, and nobody will be required to drive beyond their capabilities. To help us maintain our excellent safety record, participants must exercise due care at all times and follow the instructions and advice of our instructors.
Facilities:
Toilets are available on site, along with an undercover area with picnic benches and a wood fire that we light in cold or wet weather. This is where the safety briefing takes place and refreshments are available.
