Each Zapcat has a power to weight ratio of 340bhp per tonne you are going to have an adrenalin pumping, action filled ride... not as a passenger but as thundercat co-pilot as it is your responsibility to balance the boat for the turns!
Your Thundercat experience:
The session will last just under 3 hours. This includes you being a copilot and depending on conditions you get to pilot the Zapcat yourself. While others are riding the Cats you will be in our Humber Destroyer RIB with a 150hp outboard a great ride on its own!
When can you go:
Weekends all year.
How long does this activity last:
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours. Each participant will get approximately 20 minutes in a Zapcat split into two sessions; it will be at the instructor’s discretion whether participants will have the chance to drive. Remaining time will be spent on a high speed RIB
You need to know:
- Maximum Weight 20 Stone
- Minimum / Maximum Height: 4’10” - 6’ 4”
- Minimum Age 16 – Unders 18s need parental consent.
- No experience or qualifications are necessary, however non-swimmers should advise their instructor at their safety briefing.
You and how many others:
Maximum per session will be 12, in two Zapcats and one RIB with three qualified drivers.
What to wear:
We provide all the safety equipment for you included in the price. We also provide wet suits and dry suits depending on temperature
