The Course:
3 electric pumps control the discharge of water down
the 300-metre slalom course that will allow the Centre
to control the flow rates thereby altering the course’s
difficulty and skill levels required to paddle it. The
Centre and slalom course will truly be an exciting
sporting adventure for the complete Whitewater novice
to the expert paddler and a provide ‘Access for All’
Your two hour session will include a comprehensive safety and rafting technique briefing, a short session on flat water allows you to practice paddling and manoeuvring your six seater raft before you set off to complete 5/6 thrilling circuits of the 300m course. All you need to bring is a sense of adventure.
Fully trained and experienced guides will ensure you receive the necessary instruction to maximise your enjoyment of the day - you are guaranteed to have fun, get wet and be exhausted!
When can you go:
We raft seven days a week during peak season (June to Sept) and raft to a supply and demand basis during the other months. The normal rafting season is from March through to October. Individual rafters are only placed onto rafts Saturdays/ Sundays
How long does this activity last
Approximately 2 hours
Restrictions:
- Any participants under the age of 14 years old
- Any participants over 16 stones
- Any participants that are pregnant
- Any participants that are deemed not physically fit / capable to take part in rafting experiences
- Any participants with proportionately large body areas, due to equipment not being able to fit correctly
- Any participants under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Book individually to join a group of up to 6 other adrenaline seekers.
Clothing Required:

The Centre provides all participants with the following pieces of equipment.

A buoyancy aid or lifejacket,
Helmet,

Sleeveless wetsuit and a windproof jacket.
You must bring with you the following:

A spare pair of trainers or wetsuit boots. These will get wet.

Some form of thermal top: sweatshirt or thermals

A towel

Spare set of clothing

Swimsuit, shorts or trunks for hygiene reasons under your wetsuit
Meal Arrangements -
At weekends only a canteen service, providing hot meals, snacks and drinks is available. There are drink and confectionery vending machines accessible all the time.
